Adios!

¡Hola mis amigos y mi familia! Guess what time it is? I leave for Mexico in less than a week! My first flight leaves on the 31st. I fly to Dallas first, then to Mexico City, then my last flight is to Veracruz where I will travel in a car for a few hours before I'm actually in Xalapa, I think this is gonna be the most intense travelling I will ever do! But don't worry I'm way more excited than nervous so don't be worried too much.

These last few weeks have been so great. I have learned so much Spanish it is amazing. The gift of tongues is sooooo real it's incredible. We have given a lot of lessons to "investigators" and it's going very smoothly. I'm so excited to try it for real.

I guess i'll just talk about things that have been going on the past few weeks now haha. I've been listening to church music so much I don't know how I'm going to go back to any other music, church music kinda bops sometimes, you'll catch me hittin so dang good dance moves to the songs sometimes. Also I think our family has watched a disney movie every night during the MTC so far, Disney+ needs to start making new movies faster. I also see myself getting to probably pro level pingpong now, I think i've been playing it too much! I've also been able to go through the temple another time while in the MTC with my missionary buddies, it was so great and so spiritual, nothing is better than the feelings in the temple, if I could, I would spend all day in there.

Hmmm, anything else interesting? There's not too much interesting that happens when you sit in a room for about 8 hours a day. I guess I've become a pro fly hunter. You guys have no idea how many flies have flown into my MTC room, it's so annoying, I've gotten pretty good with a fly swatter. Also I got these super sick new shoes for the mish, also can you guys stop telling my mom suggestions for the mission haha, she keeps on doubting herself that she bought me the wrong stuff haha, she keeps on buying me new stuff and I don't know if i'll be able to fit everything in my suitcases!

Alright I'll wrap this up now. Here's a scripture that I found that I thought was just awesome and I want to share with you guys. D&C 50: 24 " That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day" This gospel is a light in our lives. As we stay in the light and soak up this light in our lives continually we will truly be blessed when the perfect day comes, and that is the day when we are in the presence of God once again, because in that day we will be perfect.

Well the next time you get an email from me i'll be in Mexico! I'm going to miss the MTC though. I will miss my first companion and district alot. They have been so fun. We were probably the coolest District in the Mexico MTC to be honest. Alright anyway, i'll send another email soon, Love You All!!

Elder Raymond
