Elder Jack Raymond July 2021- July 2023

  All right ill start you off with an investigator story. So this was just yesterday on sunday, but we had an investigator Who was supposed to come to church but he lives pretty far from the church, like 45 mins away, so he unfortunately couldnt make it on time. He got there at the end of sunday school haha and apoligized to us telling us how he was super tired and stuff. We told him it was ok and that since he was Down here in cerro azul he might as well at least see the church and have an in person lesson with us. So thats what we did. After the tour we took him to the classrooms and we started to teach him about the restoration. And literally i taught him the first 2 points of the lesson and he was out, literally dead asleep!! Me and my comp were So confused because this has never happened before. So we just kept teaching the lesson hahaha. We went on asking him questions and even gave him the baptismal invitation, all while he was asleep!! I guess it was kind of like our test r...

 Well im gonna try and send out my emails on mondays now like im supposed to haha. Well this week was fun. I had my first transfer this past week, it was a sad and happy experience. I had to see my trainer leave for home as well as some other missionaries that i really liked, and some other missionaries i really liked got transfered out of the zone, so thats sad too. But i was also happy because i got the second trainer or "mi mama" that i wanted to get. My New companion is elder huitron. I love this guy!! He has so much energy and loves to work and not be lazy. Plus we get along really well and he is really helping me perfect my spanish, im really grateful for that. And my New area is cerro azul. Its not that New to me becuase ive been on splits over there alot and i really like the area. The house is bigger in cerro azul, but it doesnt function as well as my old one haha.   This last weekend was pretty crazy and awesome at the same time haha. We started off the weekend having my first multi zone conference. It was so fun and I learned so much. We were with 4 different zones at this conference and they were all from the North. We had my zone (tuxpan), papantla, Poza Rica, and palmas. Also the mission president and his wife and the aps. So was alot of people there and if was very fun haha. Met alot of New missionaries and heard some great lessons and ate Lots of american food haha. But the Best part was speaking English with the other americans haha, it feels so good to understand what you are hearing and talking about you have no idea. But don't worry my Spanish is Still comin along very well haha. But other than that we also had general conference woot woot!
