Well im gonna try and send out my emails on mondays now like im supposed to haha. Well this week was fun. I had my first transfer this past week, it was a sad and happy experience. I had to see my trainer leave for home as well as some other missionaries that i really liked, and some other missionaries i really liked got transfered out of the zone, so thats sad too. But i was also happy because i got the second trainer or "mi mama" that i wanted to get. My New companion is elder huitron. I love this guy!! He has so much energy and loves to work and not be lazy. Plus we get along really well and he is really helping me perfect my spanish, im really grateful for that. And my New area is cerro azul. Its not that New to me becuase ive been on splits over there alot and i really like the area. The house is bigger in cerro azul, but it doesnt function as well as my old one haha. Also they havent had a baptism in the cerro azul area the past 4 transfers so hopefully we can change that this transfer!! We already have one New investigator so pray for them and for me por favor.
Also im very excited because i got to play spikeball this transfer woot woot! Someone New Who joined our zone has a net and i played for the first time in like 3 months haha. Dont worry i was a little rusty but i Still was undefeated out of 6 games haha.
I dont really have any cool stories to tell you this email unfortunately. A bird pooped on me for the first time here in mexico. That was basically the worst, because it was on my cool sweater. I swear these birds do it on purpose though. Because there was literally nobody on the sidewalk and right when i happened to be Walking by it just sniped me from the telephone wire out of nowhere. They must not like gringos that much or something (even though im basically a full on latino now ;) haha). I decided i hate pigeons now too. Also just something that i think is funny is how the People here like to add just a Straight up hot dog Weiner to some of their foods haha especially if its more of an american food. Like there is a hamburger that i like to get down here and they try and mexicanize it but make it american at the same time. So its a burger with a patty, lettuce, ketchup, but they put some chorizo in it and if you want you can add a pineapple slice in it, then to top it off they slap a full on hot dog Weiner right in the Middle of it haha. Its not even really cooked too so its Kind of just warm. But hey i like it sooooooo. They also do the same thing with pizza haha, that i dont like as much though.
Well, thats all i got for you, something i just want to add is that ive been reading the book of mormon and im Almost through the whole thing, and i just love the story of ammon. Ammon is amazing, the amount of Joy he had throughout his Journey, the good times and the bad times, is incredible. But its so true, this gospel brings so much Joy into my life especially through reading the words of god in the book of mormon and just missionary work in general. I want be like ammon. I want to be an example of pure joy so others can see and feel the difference that this gospel brings to lives.
