Baptism!

Not trying to flex but we had our first baptism!! It was so cool! Such an amazing experience, unfortunately I wasn't the one to baptize, my companion did. I really wish I did though because we baptized in the river! But don't worry we have a few more from the same family this weekend, and I'll be able to do some baptizing as well, I just hope the font doesn't work again so we have to use the river haha. But my companion had to use my White pants so at least I had some part of the action haha!

This isn't goin to be a long email, nothing interesting really happened this week besides our baptism. That's because I wasn't in my area this entire week. We had to be in Tuxpan, which is our zone, for half the week, Then we had exchanges which lasted the other half of the week. I was up in Cerro Azul for exchanges and was with another companion from my district. Cerro Azul is so cool, the scenery is amazing! It's the very top area of the entire mission. I don't have pictures of it But just imagine my area now with more hills and trees haha.

I guess I have one story to share, this was a scary experience haha. So first off let me tell you that the roads here are not good at all. There are potholes everywhere and speedbumps everywhere, and there is barely enough room for a 2 lane road, but the drivers here make it work anyways. But if that's not enough we were in a taxi at night, and it was dark, very dark where you could only see what your headlights were shining at. Because there are no streetlights down here and the headlights on the cars are not good, all the taxis here are all crappy cars haha. But somehow they Still manage to go 80 km/h on these roads. So we were bookin it in this taxi late at night, and I was so scared for my life. I'll tell you I was ready to meet my maker at any second during that taxi ride haha. I thought for sure we were goin to hit a speedbump, or pothole, or another car, or a cow in the road or something goin 80km/h!! But these drivers must be the most pro drivers ever, probably better than Nascar haha, because we made it to our destination safe and sound. And let me tell ya, now I know God is with us every second of our lives. Sorry if I made you more scared for me mom haha.

But thanks for the emails that you all send to me I love receiving them. I'll Dropbox my email again incase you want to send somemore Jack.raymond@missionary.org.

I love all of you guys so much!!
