Hijole

 Bueno, aqui estoy otra vez

This week was pretty nice, because i made my companion be the senior companion for the week hahah, so i let him make and plan out some lessons and stuff like that, so it was easy sailing for me this week hahah, but it was fun and we worked a lot still. We were able to find a few new people to teach and progress a lot more of our investigators already. And we will be baptising our boy Lencho this Saturday!! Woot woot! Hes a beast, that's all i have to say haha.

But i cant believe its already week 6, last week of the transfer, this one just straight up flew by so fast. Cant wait to see what will happen this time because now we are basically guaranteed to switch it up a bit.

But this week was like a holiday week and so will the next couple weeks i think, so my area is just packed with tourists from around Mexico, so its really cool, and we actually meet lots of people from the US hahah, and it is literally soooo weird, i cant like explain it, it feels off hahaha but the thing they always say is this, " I know why you guys are here and im not interested in your religion, I just wanted to talk to white people in person because i havent done that in years" or something along those lines hahaha. Even though im like obiously mexican now hahaha.

We ate a gross thing this week also, we ate a hueva, which is an egg sack of a fish. So gross. This must have been a big fish too cause the thing was huge hahahah. But we got it and it just looked like a fish stick, beacuse we had already been eatin fish. But when i but into it it just tasted like sand. Because literally the thing was filled with thousands of tiny little fish eggs that were just soooo dry. Easily the worst thing ive ever had on the mish, and ive eaten some pigs feet as well!

Also i think i forgot to tell you guys this story, but its so funny when we run into missionaries from other churches hahahah. One day we were walkin down the street and some missionaries from the church luz del mundo were passing, so obviously we had to talk to em. So we talked and shared some beliefs and yatta yatta but when it came time to invite them to listen to us it was just a back and forth fight as to our invitations hahah. We were both inviting each other to church and inviting them to read scriptures and learn about our church and it was just a mess hahaha. But i think we won because obviously our church is correct, and they accepted to read the book of mormon hahaha, so im pretty proud.

But thats it, love you and miss you, email me Jack.raymond@missionary.org
